Are you Ready? It's the Calm Before The Storm
Are you ready? It's the last summer day before the first day of (middle) school. My schedule is always so much easier during the summertime. So today is my calm before the storm that is school schedules and after school extra-curricular activities!

Christianne--Are you referring to your kids going back to school or are you a teacher as well as a real estate agent? Either way enjoy your last few hours before the big change.
Hi Mary - No I'm not a teacher. I am referring to my kids going back to school...We'll be leaving the house at 7:15am, working until 2pm, picking up my 8th grader from school and bringing him back to work so he can get his homework done, football from 5:30 - 7:50pm, then going home, getting dinner, making sure the dogs and goats are fed, making sure the kids are bathed, and then sending them off to bed....
Surely that is not snow!
Marcia - Yes, it's snow! It's a picture I took in February! I like to post pictures of the opposite seasons so I can appreciate them more! It seems like whenever I'm roasting a glance at a snow covered peak can cool me off, and when it's cold outside, a picture of a beach always warms me up!
Well...I thought I was and only have a senior at High School left at home. I accompanied our sophomore in college to his school last week and wrote about it! I guess it's always going to be busy and different every year and they continue to grow UP!
BTW tha snow looks very inviting, we are on track to have the hottest summer on record here in Austin and it is brutal!
Christianne - Very beautiful photograph on your post and I wish we had some of that cool snow down in Vegas, it was around 115 degrees today!
Wow! A compliment from a photographer! I am so blushing right now, Robert!
