The other day I read a post by a Jeff Dowler titled Hate Voicemail? Try Voice Cloud!
And I gave it a try - and I really LIKED it! Up until I got the email yesterday telling me my trial period had ended and I now needed to pay $19.99 per month to keep it.
You see, I'm cheap! Well, let me rephrase that - I like to put my resources towards things that really help me, like my Outside Blog at Active Rain, or my Localism neighborhood sponsorships. I think VoiceCloud is great, but I wanted to find a less expensive alternative.
Enter YouMail! YouMail is a completely FREE alternative to VoiceCloud. I set mine up today and it even formats itself depending on what phone you have.
So if you like NOT having to check your voicemail and want to receive a text message or an email instead - or even be able to view your voicemail online, give YouMail a try. The voice to text portion of the package is only $3.99 per month.
There are additional components you can add if you are a pay client, but their free service provides so many features, you may not need to!
